Headknot is a team knowledge base that answers questions from the tools you already use. It connects to Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Jira, Confluence, GitHub and Linear, reads what is in them, and answers questions in plain language — citing the documents behind every answer and the date each fact was last true.
What makes it different
Most tools in this category search documents and summarise what they find, which means a fact that changed six months ago comes back with the same confidence as one confirmed yesterday. Headknot stores facts as dated claims in a graph rather than as text to summarise. That is what lets it tell you a number changed in June, what it was before, and which source says so.
What it does not do
Headknot reads from the sources you connect and never writes back to them. It does not post, edit or delete anything, and it does not replace the tools it reads — your team keeps working where it already works. It is also not a general assistant: it answers about your workspace, and declines when the evidence is not there.
Who builds it
Headknot is built by a small independent team. It is early — in beta, with the rough edges that implies — and the free plan exists so you can find that out on your own content before deciding anything.
